A powerful voice for the Civil Rights movement, Malcolm X had experienced many renaissances throughout his lifetime. His undeniable contribution to American Civil Rights Movement redefined the struggle by challenging previous nonviolent methodologies. He transformed himself from a radical militant of the Nation of Islam into a peace-loving Sunni Muslim preaching tolerance of all people and articulating the deepest pain and aspirations of African-Americans throughout the country.
