Social Media Phishing - The New Tool of Hackers
Social media phishing is a type of fraud in which users receive an enticing invitation to click on an infected link or provide personal information. While the primary attack vector for “regular” phishing is through email, social media phishing, is – you guess it – primarily perpetrated through social media sites. And as social media replaces email – at least in our personal lives, if not at work—social media phishing is becoming the greater danger.
