STEM vs STEAM, do you know the difference?
STEM is the abbreviation for a particular group of academic disciplines - Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. STEAM differs with only one letter - A which means Arts. This term was created by Rhode Island School of Design and its main aim is to encourage integration of Art + Design in K–20 education which currently fly under STEM banner and take it seriously. As scientific studies do not exclude art components, let's find out how both of them work and why you should choose one over another.
